Antonia was living in the household of brother Frank Montoya.  Frank
was living in the rear of house #904, E. Sherman St, Phoenix,
Maricopa County, Arizona. A listed of individuals in this household
wer:
-
Frank Montoya was noted as the head of household, age 36 (born circa
1914, in Mexico). He was noted as never married, and his occupation
was noted as "Cuts Lettuce" in fields.
-
Geneva Montoya was listed as the mother of Frank Montoya, noted as
a widow, age 66 (born circa 1884, in Mexico). She had no occupation
listed.
-
Antonia Espinoza was listed as the sister of Frank Montoya, noted as
separated, age 27 (born circa 1823, in Arizona). Her occupation was
noted as a Factory Worker at a Mattress Manufacturer.
-
Juan de la Garza was listed as a nephew of Frank Montoya, single,
age 3 (born circa 1847, in Arionza). He was too young to have an
occupation.
-
Also living in the same household, but listed separately as a head of
household was Ignacia Ayala, noted as a widow, age 76 (born circa
1874, in Mexico). She had no occupation listed.
-
Notes with regard to this family.  We know from other records that
Geneva's surname was Ayala.  Ignacia Ayala was likely an older
sister, and may be the Ignacia Ayala noted in death records as born
31 Jul 1879 and died 17 December 1957 in Phoenix, Maricopa
County, Arizona. She was buried in Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery.

1950 census, Enumeration district 31-69, (image 21 of 50), San
Benito, Cameron County, Texas listed family as follows:
Juan M Hernandez listed as head of household, age 41, born Mexico
Petra listed as wife, age 32, born Mexico
Ninfa listed as daughter, age 11, born Texas
Raul listed as son, age 10, born Texas

Per 1940 federal census, Juan Lived in San Benito, Cameron County, Texas
between 1935-1940. I believe the 1940 census is key to determining Juan's
parentage.  Juan is listed as living in the rear of the same property and
residence of Emilio Hernandez, who is presumed to be the father of Juan.
This is corroborated by the 1930 federal census where Juan is listed as a
son of  Emilio and Andrea Hernandez (Step-mother). He was listed as
age 23 which would place his birth at about 1907, in Mexico.  Many
age descrepancies among the family exist, but I believe it is inherent in
some records; where many families of Mexican descent lived/traveled in
both the United States and Mexico.  I believe some of this family may
have been split between Mexico and Texas during these 1930 and 1940
census timeframes.

Despite the many descrepancies, as for Juan Hernandez, the info indicated
above is my basis for listing Emilio as the father of Juan Hernandez.

Birth day Descepancy:
California Death records indicate Juan was born on 24 Jun 1908 in Mexico
and died 19 July 1971 in Santa Clara County, California.  Social Security
indicates his birth day as 26 Jun 1908.

Listed on July 1863 Civil War draft registration rolls, 4th Congressional District, Adair County, Kentucky.
The roll listed Taylor County, Kentucky as the residence of Huch Warren, and his age as 36.  He was
listed as a class 1 registrant. Class I was those aged 20-35 as well as those 36-45 and unmarried. This is interesting, because we know in 1860, he was listed as having wife Jane Warren. Like many Warren
ancestors; perhaps he wanted to serve in the War; and just happened to forget he was not married when
applying.

Listed on July 1863 Civil War draft registration rolls, 4th Congressional District, Adair County, Kentucky.
The roll listed Taylor County, Kentucky as the residence of John C. Warren, and his age as 40.  He was
listed as a class 1 registrant. Class I was those aged 20-35 as well as those 36-45 and unmarried. This is interesting, because we know in 1860, he was listed as having wife Celia Warren. Like many Warren
ancestors; perhaps he wanted to serve in the War; and just happened to forget he was not married when
applying.

Mentioned in Will of John Compton as grandson John Warren, son of son in law, Avery Warren.

Another source has birth as 29 Mar 1826.

Interesting deed, in that after father Henry Smith's death in 1792, Abraham was a
co-administrator. This land record indicates that some of the land (100 acres) once
owned by Henry Smith was to be transferred to Adam Meek. The land tract was
mentioned to have been granted to Henry Smith Sr. by Governor Tryon in the
year 1765, and was commonly callled Smithe old place.
