'BuD' Ingram POCATELLO - Vearl Dean "Bud" Ingram, 83, longtime Pocatello resident, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007, at his home following an extended illness. He was born May 30, 1923, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, a son of Hyrum Edward and Naoma Rosaline Johns Ingram. He attended schools in Tyhee, Irving Junior High and Pocatello High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps before graduating, and served in the South Pacific during World War II. He received an honorary graduation diploma from Pocatello High School several years ago. In 1947, he married Gena Clinton, in Seattle, Washington, and they had two sons, Tom and Edward. They later divorced. On December 19, 1953, he married Doris J. Moser, in Elko, Nevada. She passed away July 18, 1993. "Bud" was a carpenter by trade, and was a member of the Pocatello Carpenters Union and Central Labor Union, where he had served as president. He was a member of the LDS Church. His interests included hunting, fishing, camping and being out-of-doors . He also enjoyed stock car racing. He liked building things and remodeled and added on to his home to accommodate his family and friends. He was a master at his trade. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include a son, Harold Edward Ritchie Ingram, Bainbridge Island, Washington; two daughters, Jinny (Mic) Jones and Sandra (James) Bishoff, both of Pocatello; two sisters, Myrle Roeder and Ruby Robinson, both of Pocatello; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren . He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris, a son, Tom, a brother, Max Ingram and a sister, Utheria. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel , 510 N. 12th Ave., with Kenny Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho, with military rites provided by the Blackfoot American Legion "Stewart Hoover" Post 23. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to services . Funeral services are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel. Waldrip passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at LifeCare Center of Yuma where she had resided for the past seven years. She was born in Brock, Texas on January 24, 1911. In 1930 Jewell married Clyde Waldrip in Weatherford, Texas. She was a licensed cosmetologist and was also employed by Uptown Drug, a downtown drug store, for 28 years. Jewell was a loving and caring person who enjoyed being with people, especially children who held a special place in her heart. She spent her spare time cooking and gardening. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of LifeCare Center of Yuma, especially Dr. Clarence Clark. Jewell enjoyed them all and especially looked forward to the recreation program and activities provided. Jewell is survived by her sister, Betty Jo Watson, of Yuma; and sister-in-law, Juanita White, of Yuma. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Waldrip who passed away on October 1, 1989; father and mother, Jessie and Ollie White; and brothers, L.W. White, Howard White, and Thomas White. Bruce and appoints Richard Done of Liverpoole to manage his affairs in Virginia /s/ Richd Gildart wit. Arthr. Smith, William Prime, John Higginson Nov. Ct. 1716; Smith and Higginson verify signature. ntbl In 1716 two ships, the Friendship of Belfast and the Good Speed of Liverpool, arrived in Annapolis Maryland with Jacobite prisoners taken in the Rebellion at Preston, in Lancashire. These two shiploads of prisoners were sent over after the defeat of Mar and Derwentwater's "risings" in 1715-1716. The ship Good Speed, commanded by Arthur Smith, left Liverpool, England, on 28 July 1716 and arrived in Annapolis, Maryland, on October 18, 1716, carrying fifty-five prisoners, most of whom were sold as indentured servants. The Rebels transported were "sold by the factor of Messrs. Richard Guildard & Company" to serve a term of seven years. John Bruce is listed as the "purchaser" for Wm. Ferguson and James Dixon. Judith Bruce is listed as the "purchaser" for Tho. Hume. John Bruce met the ship as agent for Messrs. Richard Guildard & Company. The ship also brought the power of attorney document, mentioned above. Arthur Smith, the ship's captain, witnessed the document in England and attested to it in court in Charles County. ntbl Testamentary Proceedings, Liber 23, page 82 30 Jan 1716/7, John Bruce, who had married the widow, petitioned the court to pass their account upon the estate of John Warren.
