It is also,said that Durrett received a fractured skull by being struck with a club by Warren. The trouble was theculmination of a long standing personal feud and was in no wise connected to with political differences. Mr. Warren was well known to most of our citizens, having traded considerably with the merchants of our town in the past year. He was the son of Mr. Gabriel Warren, of Green County, and a brother to Mr. Thomas Warren, who once resided on the H & H turnpike in this county.
