Her father was from Pennsylvania, her motherfromMaryland. The school facilities in her vicinity were limited. Thecountyof Harrison was hilly, and the roads of primitive character; themode oftravel was chiefly on horseback riding, in which few couldexcel her. Inher girlhood she was religiously inclined, loved virtue,honesty,truthfulness and integrity; attended secret prayers, studiedto becheerful, industrious and happy, and was always opposed torudeness.During her fifteenth year some Latter-day Saints visitedtheneighborhood; she heard them preach and believed what they taught.Sheknew by the spirit of the Lord, in answer to her prayer, thatJosephSmith was a Prophet of the Lord, and that the Book of Mormon wasa divinerecord. August 21, 1837 she was baptized; and most of herfather's familyjoined the Church about the same time. Bunny was born April 19, 1926 in Duluth, MN and had lived intheReno/Sparks area since 1953, coming from Gardena, CA. She worked asadealer at Harold's Club where she met and married George Owens whoownedthe Green Fox Bar and Dinner House on Old Highway 40. After hisdeath in1974, she met and married the love of her life, Giddeon "Jack"Holzner,Fire Chief of Phoenix. She was a member of the Harold's Club Pioneers. She worked atJesseBeck's Riverside and moved from there to Phoenix. She spentherretirement in Sparks, NV in her cute little house with her 2 littledogs.She loved to dance and have fun and experience life to it'sfullest.Always "for the good times". Although she was unable to have children of her own, she dearly lovedhernieces and nephews as her own children, as well as her stepchildren,step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren from hermarriage withJack. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack. She is survived byhersisters, Lois Pace, Billie Bailey, and Diane Mansfield;stepchildren,their families, and many nieces and nephews. 3997 | Begin Obit George Robert Oliver Died at his home here - George Robert Oliver, 61, of 203 fifth, a resident of Wichita Falls, 17 years, died Wednesday morning at his home. Funeral arrangements, in charge of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, are incomplete. Survivors include his wife; a son N.H. Oliver; four daughters, Mesdames L.B. Tipfer, T.O. Wilson and B.E. Wigley, all of Wichita Falls, and Miss Ona Fay Oliver, Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters and nine grandchildren. End Obit George Robert Oliver, after the death of his first wife, traveled on horseback to Arkansas. Writs). James, brother to Sir Robert de Bures seems to have held jointly withhim certain lands. Thus in the inq. p.m. taken 30 Edward I (1302), afterthedeath of Alice the first wife of Robert de Bures, it is said that RobertdeBures, Alice his wife and James his brother held Badmundesfeld in the village of Wykambrook, Suffolk, and the following manors: Worle, Glouc; Bolewyk, Northt, Holpenynatre, Essex; Laxton and Pightesleye, Northt,Geddinges, Huntingdon; Blarenyke, Northt, Honesdon, Herts; Northt and Colne,Essex; and Delygton, Huntington. In 1310 Robert de Bures and James hisbrother of Suffolk proffer service of one fourth part of a knight'sfee,performed by one "serviens" with one barded horse (Muster at Tweedmouth 19 Sept. 4 Edward II). In 1314 Sir Robert de Bures, Knight (Parl. Writs), andJamesde Bures witnessed the marriage of John de Reydon (or Roydon) 17 June 7 Edward II (Cal. Rot. Chart., fo. 132).
