Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. for Mary Aulena Flynnof819 Paradise Lane, Hobbs. The Rev. Mark Scott, associate pastor at First Methodist ChurchinHobbs, was to officiate. Burial was planned in the Eunice Cemeteryunderthe direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Flynn, who was 57, died Monday, Dec. 3, at Lea Regional Hospital.Shewas born in Oklahoma on Jan. 22, 1933. A homemaker, Flynn had made her home in Hobbs for 18 months,movinghere from Smithsville, Texas. Survivors include two sons, Richard Halliburton and Gary HalliburtonofHobbs; one daughter Mrs. Deana Bates of Midland, Texas; onebrotherCharles Stephens of Houston, Texas; her mother, Mrs. JacquetteaKrebbs ofHobbs; five grandchildren.

Halliburton Services for Charles Vincent Halliburton, 68, 1100 Jemez, will be a10a.m. Wednesday at Peterson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.GavinVaugh, pastor of Belvue Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Halliburton died Monday morning at Lea Regional Hospital afteranextended illness. He had lived in Hobbs since 1936 and was retired electrician,havingworked for Southwestern Electric Supply Co. He was a native NewMexicanborn in Dexter. Survivors are his wife Leatrice of the home; two daughters MarieCookof Hobbs*, and La Juan Miles of Odessa; a son, Charles HalliburtonofHobbs; a stepson, Clint Cook, and a stepdaughter, Wynona Phillips,bothof Hobbs; a brother Dean Halliburton of Gallup; and 11grandchildren.

Charles T. Halliburton

"CEMETERIES by Mrs. F. L. Mehlhop .....In 1908, George Halliburton, age 24, died of tuberculosis andwasburied on a new plot of land given by Mr. A. Durand. This wasimmediatelynorth of Glen Marshall's north farm. Later this body wasmoved to Roswelland no one else was ever buried there."

George Halliburton, aged 24 years, eldest son of C.W. Halliburton,diedthis morning at 3:30 at the home of his father in Dexter. He cameherewith his father and mother from Moberly, Mo., about four years ago.Twoyears ago his mother died of tuberculosis, and it was the samediseasethat caused the death of the son. William Dillard Halliburton dealt heavily in real estate inMontgomeryCounty, Tennessee, buying and selling land at a neat profit.He wasevidently a 'natural born trader.' He wrote several letters to his brother Simeon, who had movedtoMissouri, which were extant in 1946 according to Charles A.Drinkard. In1844, William D. sent a query as to the prospects forwheat in Missouri,stating: "If the prospect is good I expect to besent to buy wheat inthat part of the world." In the same letter hecommented on the economyof the 1840's in Tennessee. He wrote, " I havenothing of greatimportance to communicate more than money is scarce,times is hard, baconand corn is plenty." He was enumerated on the 1830 census as a resident ofMontgomeryCounty, Tennessee. He made plans to move to Missouri severaldifferenttimes, and finally did move in 1850. He settled in RandolphCounty,northeast of the present town of Cairo, Missouri, and becameone of thesubstantial farmers of the county. He was subsequentlylisted on thecensuses as a resident of Randolph County,, Missouri. William D's wife Nancy, lived only a few years after movingtoMissouri. He returned to Tennessee and married Elizabeth Davis,widow ofAsa H. Jett, a former neighbor in Montgomery County.Elizabeth's youngestdaughter, Emily, accompanied her to Missouri. William Dillard Halliburton recorded the name and date of birth ofeachof his children in his Family Bible. He wrote with a touch ofparentalpride in 1844, stating "we have the likelyst child in thefamily."

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Kingsburg Cemetery for Otis Warren, 87, who died Monday in Banning where he had been under medical care for the past two months. Rev. George Skaret of the Evangelical Free Church will officiate and the Creighton Chapel is in charge. Warren was a native of Missouri. For 40 years he operated a shoe repair business in Los Angeles and upon retirement 20 years ago he moved to Kingsburg. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Marie Ringblom of Kingsburg, three nephews, Frank and John Warren of Kingsburg and Tom Warren of Kansas City, Missouri.

Her death certificate lists her father as Edward Collins and mother as Jane Anderson, both born in Ireland. Her date of birth in this record is 12 July 1828 in Ireland.

I have not found Owen Collins in records but have found a Edward Collins in Portadown records.
