6791 | Loyd Ramsey Fishback Services for Loyd Ramsey Fishback, 92, of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Ernie Williams, of Balch Springs, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. He passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in Levelland. He was born Dec. 25, 1911 in Tecumseh, Okla. He married Mildred Lorene Hastey in 1932. Mr. Fishback enjoyed fishing and was devoted to his church. He was superintendent of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Balch Springs, which he also named. He was a farmer in Portales, N.M. and was a carpenter in the Lubbock area for many years. Mr. Fishback graduated from Quitaque High School as salutatorian and was offered several scholarships to many different colleges. His wife, four sons, Darrel, Jack, Harold and Bennie Fishback, preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons, Donald Loyd Fishback of Belen, N.M., and Carlton and wife Vickey Fishback of George town; daughter, Sherlyn Lorene Canon of Levelland; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. 6795 | Lucille A. Clark Lucille A. Clark, age 91, of Eaton, Ohio, died Friday evening, Aug. 31, 2007, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. Born on Sept. 18, 1915, in Twin Township, Preble County, Ohio, the daughter of the late John H. and Johanna (Fahrenholz) Straszheim. She was a 1933 West Alexandria High School graduate and had lived and farmed in Jackson Township most all of her life. Lucille attended the New Hope United Methodist Church, the Jackson Township Senior Citizens and served on the Jackson Library Board. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Stanley Clark in 1989; and a infant son in 1943; brothers, Albert F. Straszheim in 1994, John W. "Bill" Straszheim in 1993, and James H. Straszheim in 1997; sisters, Mary Milstead, Bertha Johnson in 1981 and Gesiena "Zena" Bourne in 1997. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Fred Kerler, Margie Coning and Keith Coning, all of Eaton, Ohio; grandchildren, Kathy and Ed Mowen, Paula and Jerry Baumann, Chris and Angi Coning and Mike and Christine Coning; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Coning, Ladia Coning, Max Coning, Becca Mowen, Allison Mowen, Owen Baumann and Olivia Baumann. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH 45320, with Rev. Kathy O'Donnell officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Bowen was the daughter of the late Richard Buckner and Elizabeth Ingram Buckner of Taylor County. She was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and a retired merchant. She was married to Burr H. Bowen, who preceded her in death. Bowen is survived by one son, James B. Bowen; and one grandson, David H. Bowen, both of Minnesota. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Robert Buckner, Frank Buckner, and Betty Chandler.
