Marilyn met a terrific guy, Richard in 1957 and celebrated the vows of Marriage at St. Gregory's church in Phoenix in 1959.Then came their only son "Ricky" in 1961, who had a great nuclear family with 2 of the most terrific role models a child could ever expect. Marilyn's presence was always fun and full of happiness even during her 2 bouts of cancer with aggressive radiation and chemotherapy. Marilyn always put everyone first before her. Marilyn is preceded in death by her father Frank, whom passed away in 1989. She is survived by her mom Bernice, 95; a loving husband of 49 years Richard; son Richard (Ricky) and his wife Melanie of 25 years; 3 beautiful Granddaughters Ashley-Rose (Derek), Lizzy (Eric) with a beautiful soon to be born great-grandson Gage Alexander, all of Peoria; Kristy (James), their 3 beautiful sons; Brandon, Dylan and Tyler, all of Mesa and Kenny of New Jersey. Brother Dick, many Close brother and sister-in-laws, cousin, nephews, nieces, cousins and many great friends. Visitation will be held at Best Funeral Services, Inc. 501 E. Jones learned with deepest regret of his death March 20th at his home in Masonville, Delaware County, after an illness dated from a shock sustained by him while visiting his son..Matthew W. Jones, in Pasadena, Calif., four years ago, when he lost the use of his right arm and limb. Mr. Jones has been in feeble health since. Mr. Jones was born in Coventryville October 11, 1844, the son of John and Matilda Jones. On April 12, 1866, he was united in marriage to Sarah A. Coloney of Masonville. To them were born a family of seven children, five of whom survive him: Ezra C. Jone-? of Masonville, where he made his home, Charles H. Jones of East Masonville. Matthew W. Jones of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Amy L. Barnes of Sidney and Miss Sadie L. Jones of Auburn. Mr. Jones when in good health was a frequent visitor to his daughter and had won the friendship of many warm friends here in Auburn. Mr. Jones served three years in the Civil War. having enlisted in Company B. 144th Regiment, New York Volunteers, in the Summer of 1862, and during his service he participated in many engagements. At the, close of war he was honorably discharged and returned to his home in Masonville. He was a member of the Masonville Post of the G. A. R. until thinning ranks of the veterans caused the post to surrender its charter. He than joined the Ben Marvin Post of Walton, Delaware County, of which he was a member at the time of his death*. He was a loyal member of the. Methodist Episcopal Church and during the days of activity took great interest in his church. His wife died five years ago. The regiment was noted for its fine discipline and the splendid bravery of its men. After Lee's surrender it took part in the grand review at Washington, D.C., May 22 and 23,1865, and on July 17, 1865, was mustered out of service. Collony Henry C.
