Mr. Fleig was born in Germany, coming to this counrty when 21 years of age. He had lived in Auburn more than half century. Mr. Fleig was a brewer by trade, following that vocation from an early age. His last position as brewer was at the Koenig Brewing plant in Auburn, where he worked many years. Mr. Fleig was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church and one of the oldest member of the Holy Name Society of that parish. The body was brought to the home of his son, Carl W. Fleig, 236 State Street, in charge of undertaker Joseph E. Heleck, this afternoon. The deceased was a member of the Workmen's Sick and Death Benefit Association. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Becker of Syracuse and Mrs. Hermina Laude of Auburn; tow sons, Fred Fleig Jr., and Carl W. Fleig of Auburn; 23 grandchildren and 14 great grand- children; a sister Mrs. George Nabor of East Aurora, N.Y.; two sisters and two brothers in Germany; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services swill be held at the home of Carl W. Fleig, 236 State Street at i:45 o'clock Monday morning and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Alphonsus Church.
