Burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine, Texas. She was born June 20, 1924 in Anderson County to the late Morgan H. Coker and Kate Kiser Coker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Reagan Lasiter, Jr.; daughter, Mary Francis Burkehardt; sisters, Ethel Reynolds, and Hazel Black; and brothers, Arthur Coker, and Horace Coker. She is survived by a daughter: Carolyn Clark; sons, Wendel Lasiter, and John Lasiter; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
