- Court of Probate - Monroe County, Alabama - July 1852 - Page 416 & 417 Estate of Isaac Jordan (decd) This day came William Turner, Arthur Turner, Everet Turner, Harriet Giddens wife of John Giddins, Mary Giddins wife of Edward Giddens children of Susan Turner decd said Susan Turner being the half sister of said Isaac Jordan decd and Mary Garnett, Susan Turner wife of Everett Turner, Frances Bratcher wife of Isaac Bratcher, Isabella Corbet, wife of David Corbet, Celia Jackson and Rebecca Jackson children of Tyre Jackson decd who was the half brother of said Isaac Jordan decd there attorney, the same having been appointed by continuance for the hearing oftherepetition heretofore filed representing themselves as heirs at law of the estate of Isaac Jordan and praying to be made parties to the petition of the executor for a sale of the real estate of said decd also ??? Wm R Agee executor of said estate by attorney and his testimony having bee heard and examined. It appears to the satisifaction of the court that said petitioner above named are heirs at law of said Isaac Jordan decd It is therefore ordered & decreed by the court that they be made parties defendent to the said petitioner for the sale of the said belongings to said estate ? the said petitioners having here to for in ? court by this ? ? that are ? for the sale of said land be granted according to the petition of said executor. It is there for? ordered that the said order be?granted for the sale of said land be & the same is here by conformed and the sale under said orderishere by declared good & and valid the said petitioners by their council in open court ?? It is further ordered the cost of this proceding be paid the executor out of the funds ofsaidestate.
