Notes |
- Rebecca was living with her children in the Barnwell County,SouthCarolina census in 1830. It is presumed that Tyre Jackson had passed away prior to thiscensusenumeration. Other Jackson families living close by were Oliver Jackson andDanielJackson.
In the 1830 Barnwell County, South Carolina census, she was livingnextto a John Geddings, possibly a relation to Tyre Jackson or Rebecca Kolb. His (JohnGeddings)age was listed between 60-70 years of age. (Both the Geddings and Jackson familieslivedin Sumter SC)
Also listed on the 1830 Barnwell County, South Carolina census, livingnot to far away is Isam Jourdan (mis-index as Isam Jonsdan), possibly a relation toourIsaac Jordan. Isham was born between 1790-1800, wife listed between 20 and 30 yearsofage born between 1800-1810. Several children are listed, but one male betweenage5-10 years of age is the right age of Isaac Baxter Jordan, presuming he is not thesonof Isaac L. Jordan.
A James Jordan, listed on the 1830 Barnwell County, SouthCarolinacensus, was listed between age 50-60, placing his year of birth between 1770-1780. Againapossible relative of Isaac L. Jordan.
