- Deed For Land Peter B. Tidwell to Thomas Garrett Sen The State of South Carolina, Sumter District Know all men by these presents that I Peter B. Tidwell of the State and District above mentioned in consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to me paid by Thomas Garrett Senr of said District have bargained and sold and by these presents to bargain and sell unto the said Thos Garret Senr all the share and interest in the tract of land late the property of my deceased grandmother Susannah Graham to which I am entitled to the said Thos Garrett Senr and his heirs executors and administrators forever giving the place of her late residence situated in the District and State above written. Bounded on the west by Thos Compton Land and on the North and East by William Braceys and Arthur Turners land. In witness whereof I do this day set my hand and seal this the 5 day of January 1832.

South Carolina, Sumter District Personally appeared before me Arthur Turner who made oath that he was present and saw Peter B. Tidwell sign and seal and deliver the within deed for the uses and purposes therin mentioned and that Benj Stucky with himself witnessed the due execution thereof. Sworn to before me this March 1832.
