In 1794 he moved to Jefferson Co, TN for 7-8 years, then to Claiborne Co TN, & in 1813, he moved to Warren Co, TN where heapplied 3 Oct 1832. (RW Pension File S1663) Note: Possibly same who died 11 Apr. 1838, buried ShellsfordCemetery,Warren Co., TN. Also Note: A James FORREST was listed on the 1790 Orange Co NC census,p.095.
