1903 - Applied for Confederate pension in Hill County, Texas
Served Company F, 19th Tennessee Calvary, Bell's Brigade between 1863-1865.
At time of pension application, had lived in Hill County, Texas for 18 years, between 1885-1903.
Brother F. M. Brown vouched that he had served in the same Tennessee Calvary, and also stated he
was his older brother and resided in Hardin County, Tennessee in 1861.
