- Greensburg Record Herald Mr. Alvin Scott, son of the late Mr. Powell Scott and Mrs. LouisaGaddieScott was born 30 Oct 1904 in Taylor County, Kentucky, and departed this life at 8 pm Thurs. 22 Mar 1984 at the Green HillManorin Greensburg, Kentucky. He was 79 years, 4 months and 22 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ andwas amember of the Aetna Grove Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Flossie Vaughn who preceded himindeath in 1928. He later wed Miss Maude Bradshaw in 1945 who survives. Mr. Scott is also survived by several niecesandnephews and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral serviceswereconducted at 1 pm Sat. 25 Mar 1984 with burial in the Aetna Grove Cem. Rev. Otis Clell Skaggs and Randy Smithofficiated.Pallbearers were Dowen Quisenberry, Chess Hall, Hubert Wright, Willard Best Wilburn Bennett, and Kenneth Hall.
