John A. Warren, 75
John A. Warren, 75, of Carden Street in Campbellsville, Ky., diedonSunday, May 30, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late John B. Warren and Gladys Hoadley Warren, he was borninWest Jersey, Ill., on Nov. 21, 1928. He was a member ofSouthCampbellsville Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver.
He was married to Ethel Smith on July 21, 1953. She preceded him indeathon July 23, 1991.
He is survived by three sons and four daughters, Greg Warren,BonnieWright and Mary Gray, all of Campbellsville, Tim Warren ofDurham, N.C.,Lou Ann Waldrop and Doug Warren, both of Louisville, Ky.,and RoxiePottinger of Prospect, Ky.; 15 grandchildren, Eric Warren,Andy Warren,Sara Warren, Amanda Gowin and Justin Wright, all ofCampbellsville,Lindsey Gray of Lexington, Ky., Kara Marie Warren ofDurham, N.C., ZachWaldrop, Baxter Waldrop, Connor Waldrop and JohnWarren, all ofLouisville, and Eric Pottinger, Whitney Pottinger,Morgan Pottinger andChristian Pottinger, all of Prospect; fourgreat-grandchildren, EthanWarren, Braxton Gowin and Bailee Gowin, allof Campbellsville, and MollyWarren of Louisville; his companion, KayeAnderson of Campbellsville; andseveral nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister,William"Bud" Warren, James O. Warren, Dean Warren, Charles Hugh WarrenandKathryn Grammer Burton.
Funeral was Wednesday, June 2 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral HomeinCampbellsville. The Rev. Don Gowin officiated. Burial wasatCampbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Henry Chappell, Johnnie Grammer, Ronnie Grammer,MichaelSmith, Charles Warren and Wendell Warren.
Honorary pallbearers were John Chappell, Mike Grammer, DwightPolston,J.P. Salmon, Tommy Sapp Jr., John Shofner, Terry Smith, ToddSmith, KentWarren and Logan Warren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to HospiceofCentral Kentucky.
