Jack Tomme
KEMPNER ? Services for Jack Tomme, 93, will be at 3 p.m. SundayatBriggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Lampasas with the Rev.JerryPerkins officiating.
Burial will follow at Rock Church Cemetery near Rumley.
Tomme died July 9, 2004, at a Lampasas hospital.
He was born Nov. 29, 1910, in Rogers, the son of the late WilliamHenryand Amanda Jane Baily Tomme.
Tomme married the former Mamie Viola Wilson Aug. 22, 1935, inCorpusChristi. She preceded him in death Oct. 28, 1998.
He had lived in Kempner since 1981, coming there from CorpusChristi,where he had lived for more than 40 years.
Tomme was a retired truck driver and a carpenter.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Nolan Wayne Tomme of Hallsville andDoyleGlenn Tomme of Rumley; four grandchildren; and fourgreat-grandchildren.
Tomme was also preceded in death by four brothers, Claude Tomme,MarionTomme, Sam Tomme and Frank Tomme; two sisters, Ommie Tomme andLillianMiller; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive visitors prior to the service at thefuneralhome.
Memorials may be made to the Rock Church Cemetery Association.
