Geneva O'Della Cooper, 82
Geneva O'Della Cooper, age 82, of Globe, passed away Sunday, March 29, at Cobre Valley Community Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1926, in Winters, TX., the daughter of Nellie G. (Anthony) and Cicero W. Kiser. She was a loving mother, grandmother, who enjoyed cooking, quilting, and crafting. She especially loved being with her family. Geneva will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Geneva O. Cooper leaves behind in loving memory: Son: Eddie Cooper and his wife Dona of Show Low; Daughters: Della Cooper of Glendale, Dixie Franco and her husband Richard of Globe. Eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren also survive Geneva O. Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Ray Athon Cooper and grandson Chad Peterson.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 3 at 1 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel located at 237 S. Sutherland Street in Globe. Interment took place at the Globe Cemetery on Hackney Avenue in Globe.
