- Mr. William Thomas Squires, 82, a retired farmer of 205 Lowell Avenue,inCampbellsville, son of the late Mr. Henry Squires and Mrs. JennieDehoneySquires, was born in Green County, Kentucky, June 19, 1894. Hedied at7:30 a.m., Sunday, November 7, 1976, at Metzmeier Nursing HomeinCampbellsville where he had been a patient for the past six weeks.Hehad professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member oftheLowell Avenue Baptist Church. He was a member of Pitman MasonicLodge#124 F&AM. He united in marriage to Miss Flora Sanders. Sheprecededhim in death September 6, 1968. He then united in marriage toMrs.Lennie Sprowles, February 4, 1970. Besides his wife, Mrs.LennieSprowles Squires, he is survived by five step-sons: Mr. NormanSprowlesof Campbellsville, Route 1, Mr. Rex Sprowles of Greensburg,Route 1, Mr.Charles Sprowles and Mr. Jerry Sprowles, both of Fairdale,Kentucky, andMr. Cameron Sprowles of Orlando, Florida. He is alsosurvived by thir! teen step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; twobrothers:Mr. Ernest Squires and Mr. Lucian Squires, both ofGreensburg; severalnieces and nephews. Funeral services wereconducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday,November 9, at Parrott & Ramsey FuneralChapel in Campbellsville by Rev.Ray Vinson. Burial was inCampbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearerswere Paul Squires, BillySquires, E.B.
