- Ruth Felte
Ruth Felte, 82, of Windsor died Sunday, July 23, at Kenton ManorinGreeley.
She was born April 25, 1923, in Fort Collins to John andMinnie(Hildenburg) Greenwalt.
On June 15, 1941, she married Henry Felte in Windsor. Theylaterdivorced.
She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1941. She and Henrylivedon the family farm in Severance until she moved to The Governor'sFarmApartments in 1986. She then moved to Kenton Manor in 1988.
Mrs. Felte enjoyed gardening, painting ceramics, playing cards,bingo,baking and teaching the grandkids how to play poker as well asplayingboard games with them.
She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, SeveranceProgressiveClub, Does of the Elks Lodge and Eldergarden of Greeley.
Survivors are her daughter, Carolyn "Cooky" Adams and husband RonofEvergreen; two sons, Lauren Felte and wife Debby of Severance andKennethFelte of Windsor; nine grandchildren, Michael Felte and wifeStephanie ofSeverance, Kristi Martinez and husband Joel and ShayneDuff, all ofCraig; Cody Adams and Harry Adams, both of Denver, and AmyDuff andhusband Edward, Jennifer Felte, Shawn Archuleta and AustinFelte, all ofNew Mexico; and five great-grandchildren, Shania KayFelte, PrestonVonDane, Heather Felte, Allen-Dean Felte and CassandraMercer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband, HenryFelte,who died May 2004; a sister, Helen Asmus; and a brother, LloydGreenwalt.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith United Church of ChristinWindsor. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery Windsor. Visitationwillbe from 3-8 p.m. today at Adamson Memorial Windsor Chapel.
