She was a homemaker and a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of the Immaculata Alumni Association. Mrs. Giza was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Giza, in 1987; and brother August Kenzora Jr. in 1945. She is survived by her sister, Claire Jaxon of San Diego; four nieces; and one nephew. Viewing is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and vigil service at 6 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at San Rafael Parish of Rancho Bernardo, 17252 Bernardo Center Drive with Monsignor Dennis L. Mikulanis officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside. The family suggests donations to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025. Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido is handling arrangements.
