  Will of Van Swearingen written 5 April 1788; probated 17 June 1788 To wife Priscilla, slaves, horses and 1/50 portion of all my lands; 1/5 personal estate; 1/50 stock. To Peggy Swearingen, d/o of Priscilla, 400 acres on Big Sandy Creek, a branch of the Ohio river, part of land surveyed for officers and soldiers of the Virginia Regiment; if she die without heirs to sons and daughters herein mentioned.
