  Rev. War Pension record states he was born in the year 1760 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. From about 1761 until the Rev. War he lived in Montgomery County, North Carolina.  After the Rev. War he resided in the counties of Lincoln and Burke. Lived in Jackson County, Tennessee from approx 1805 until 1821. Lived in Ashe County, North Carolina, where he lived until 1833. Lived in Greene County, Tennessee in 1837 until 1850. Lived in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1850 where he requested a transfer of his Rev. War pension.
