  A Revolutionary War Pension request of John Platt, he stated his first wife was the half sister of Ludwig Wysong.  At the time he enlisted in the War, he was residing in York County, Pennsylvania, that part which later became Adams County, Pennsylvania. The John Platt family resided in York County until 1801, then moved to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania which later became Cambria County, Pennsylvania...  He applied for pension at age 99 living in Cambria County, Pennsylvania very near the Indiana and Clearfield County, Pennsylvania County lines.
