Notes |
- Mary Byers who was Jacob's wife stated in a application for widows Revolutionary War pension that she married Jacob Wysong in Shepherdstown, then Berkeley County,
now Jefferson County, Virginia on Easter Monday 1783. A witness, Peter Fisher
stated on Mary's behalf that they were married and her maiden name was Mary
Byers.
Unrelated to the Wysong genealogy but interesting is that Joseph Swearingen is mentioned in his pension papers. The Swearingen family is related to the Hugh Warren genealogy.
