  Lucy Buckner Bowen, 95, of Columbia Court in Campbellsville, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997 at Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville after an illness. Bowen was the daughter of the late Richard Buckner and Elizabeth Ingram Buckner of Taylor County. She was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and a retired merchant. She was married to Burr H. Bowen, who preceded her in death. Bowen is survived by one son, James B. Bowen; and one grandson, David H. Bowen, both of Minnesota. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Robert Buckner, Frank Buckner, and Betty Chandler. Funeral was at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial in Brookside Cemetery. Dr. J. Chester Badgett and Dr. Ray England. Pallbearers were Keith Chandler, Alan Chandler, Donald Skaggs, Ron Rafferty, Buster Hall and Tommy Noe.
