Harold 'Sidney' Collomy Jr., 84 HIRAM -- Harold 'Sidney' Collomy Jr., 84, born in Cambridge, Mass, the son of Harold and Julia Collomy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force of WWII. Sidney worked several years at Maple Rock Farm and the Industrial Box and Lumber Company of Kezar Falls. Mr. Collomy enjoyed fishing, old cars, puzzles, bingo and playing cards every weekend with his family. Sidney is predeceased by his son William in 1986; half brother Tom Wilkinson; son-in-law Robert Myers; and grandson Trever Carter. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Helen Louise Jahn Collomy; and eight children, daughters Janet Collomy and Catherine Berg and her husband John of Fryeburg, Gloria Hermance and her husband Ed of Parsonsfield, and Lorraine Myers of Porter, sons Michael and his wife Patricia, Raymond and his wife Blanche all of Parsonsfield, John and his wife Judith of Waterboro and Donald and his wife Rhonda of East Baldwin; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 23, at Neal & York Funeral Home, 12 High St., Porter. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Cornish.
