- Assume that William Jr. is the son of William Ingram the elder; based on being born in Granville; which is the same as his brother Andrew; and also living in Hawkins County, Tennessee; same as his brother Andrew.
William junior lived in a number of places; but volunteered for fighting in the Rev. War while living
in Montgomery County, Virginia in 1776. He stated that he also lived in Hawkins County, Tennessee
for 15 years; then to Wayne County, Kentucky for 7 years; and to Clay County, Kentucky for 1 year;
then to Madison County, Kentucky for 1 year, and to Orange County, Indiana for 3 years and then
to Marion County, Illinoiis for seven years; and then to Bledsoe County, Tennessee; where he
filed for the Rev. War pension in 1834.
