- Mary Evalea Turoczy
Mary Evalea Turoczy, 68, of Grafton, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg. She was born April 26, 1933, in Grafton, daughter of the late Charles W. and Ottie V. Moore Morris. She was a 1951 graduate of Grafton High School. She was a member of Fetterman United Methodist Church and the ladies auxiliary of VFW Memorial City Post 3081, Grafton. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William J. "Bill" Turoczy; a daughter and spouse, Denise T. and Samuel J. Nicoletti, of Grafton; a son, Anthony W. Turoczy, of Manassas, Va.; a sister, Elizabeth Courtney, of Grafton; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Gladys Morris, of Grafton; six nephews and three nieces. She was also preceded by a brother, Charles H. "Bud" Morris; a sister in infancy; and a brother-in-law, Clyde Courtney. The family will receive friends at Donald G. Ford Funeral Home, Grafton, from 2-4 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, until the 1:30 p.m. service, with the Rev. George Hamrick Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Pruntytown. Donations: Fetterman United Methodist Church, West Main Street, Grafton, WV 26354.
