Notes |
- Note: Some members of this family have been listed as being
children of Nathaniel Blood. The death record of son Peter
Blood clearly states that his parents were Asa and Jane Blood.
There were at least 4 Asa Blood's listed in the 1790 federal
census, and likely all were 21 years of age or older. This
Asa Blood parentage has not yet been located.
Peter Blood's probate record names his brothers/sisters, as
Peter died without issue, thus sharing his estate with those
surviving siblings or siblings children.
Probate records between 1815-1817. Jane "Jinny" listed as wife
of Asa Blood. Executor was (Deacon) Nathaniel Blood (of Essex,
Chittenden, VT). The probate record noted he was late of Fairfax,
Franklin County, Vermont. Listed within the document were both
Nathaniel W. Blood and William Blood, possible older children,
siblings or relatives.
