  10 October 1881 death record (Essex, Chittenden, Vermont) listed parents as Asa and Jane Blood.  It was also noted that both parents were deceased. It was noted that he was born in Fairfax, (Franklin County), Vermont. 1882 Will was lengthy, but listed wife Sylvia the administrix of the estate.  It was noted that Peter and Sylvia had no issue, but named were brothers Harmon Blood (Resided Terra Haute, Indiana) and Ranson Blood (deceased), and sister Electa H Blood (Lloyd) (Resided Evansville, Wisconsin. Ransom Blood had two sons, Harmon H. Blood and John R. Blood (residing Union, Wisconsin).
