  Lake County Indiana and Will County, Illinois are next to each other. I believe this family lived in Dyer, Lake County, Indiana, which borders Eastern Illinois. Encarnacion Gonzales was buried in Monee, Will County, Illinois, which is about 16 miles away from Dyer, Indiana. I have not been able to find a marriage record for Encarnacion Gonzales and Sara Medrano.  Sara was from Frio County, Texas and Enacarnacion from Cameron County, Texas. These two areas are about 260 miles apart, so not sure how they met, although the children of Encarnacion/Sara were born in Frio County, Texas; before they moved to Indiana.
