Edward D. Manchow, 77, of Mishawaka, IN, died at 8:25 a.m.Monday,December 26, 2005, in Regency Place of South Bend.
He was born August 5, 1928, in South Bend, to John T. andBeverly(Hickman) Manchow, and had remained a lifelong resident of thisarea.
He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Manchow in 1958, andbyhis mother, Beverly E. Bricker on April 22, 1999.
Mr. Manchow retired from the J.C. Penney Dept. Store in 1992 and fromARAVending. He was a member of Robinhood Golf Course, Mishawaka ElksLodge,and South Bend Moose Lodge #58. He proudly served his country inthe U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict
He is survived by a daughter, Robin K. Fetters of Canton, GA; a son,JohnM. Manchow of Mishawaka; a stepdaughter, Frances (Edward) CenkushofSouth Bend; a stepson, Steven (Barbara) Varro of Nashville, TN;twograndchildren, Sheila (Clint) DeWispelaere of Houston, TX, andDeannaDeBaets of South Bend; and seven great-grandchildren. Alsosurviving Edare his sister, Betty (Thomas) Hagedorn of South Bend; aniece, StephanieShannon of Louisville, KY; and a nephew, Richard(Marie) Kruk ofMishawaka, IN.
No services are planned and cremation will take place atSouthlawnCremation Services.
The Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend,isassisting the Manchow family with arrangements.
