Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at his residence following alongillness. Born Oct. 26, 1946, in Oakland, he moved to Shasta County in 1993fromRocklin. He was a field sales representative for Kelly-Moore Paint Co. andamember of the Redding Trade Club and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include wife Shirley Eckelbarger; sons Eric and Brian, bothofSan Leandro, Bob Eckelbarger of Anderson and Jim Eckelbarger andJeffEckelbarger, both of Redding; and nine grandchildren.
