  He lived in that part of Swansea which is now the town of Somerset, about one-half mile north of the Fall River line. He and his wife were members of the Swansea Monthly Meeting. He served as treasurer of the Society from 9 Nov. 1734 until 1740. His will, dated 12 June 1740, was proved 15 July 1740.
