Dux, 94, Neillsville, died Monday, May 21, 1990, at 11:25 a.m.atNeillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services were held Thursday, May24,1990, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev. JamesGordonofficiated. Burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery. AmericanLegion Post73 served as pallbearers. Otto Dux was born Jan. 27, 1896, in Clark County to Fred andWilhelmina(Nemitz) Dux. He received his education at St. John sLutheran School inNeillsville. He worked on the family farm andNeighboring farms afterschool. He entered the service in 1917. Afterreturning home he marriedAmanda Bub in Kiel, on Oct. 19, 1920. Shedied Jan. 26, 1980. They livedin the town of York for a short time. Hehad an orchestra in the 1930 sand early 40 s. He worked many differentjobs, hauling milk by horse andwagon during the depression he was acarpenter and barber and wasemployed by the Farmers Union in the 50 s.He retired from farming in1960. He was a member of Calvary LutheranChurch and a member of theAmerican Legion Post 73. Surviving him are one son, Harris Dux, Hudson Mrs. Clarence(Marion)DeCremer, DeForest Mrs. Robert (Julie) Thompson, Neillsvillefivegrandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and fivesisters.
