  Anthony J. Gatta NISKAYUNA -- Anthony J. Gatta, 92, formerly of Ford Avenue,Rotterdam,died Dec. 21, 2004, at Northwoods Rehabilitation Center,Niskayuna. Born in Schenectady, he was a lifelong area resident andattendedSchenectady schools. He served in the Army during World WarII. He wasemployed with General Electric, retiring in 1975 with 33years ofservice. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church,the G.E.Pensioners Club and the Quarter Century Club. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Mary Gatta (1978); fatherofCindy M. Gervasio; father-in-law of William J. Gervasio Jr.;lovinggrandfather of Matthew and Joseph Gervasio; and brother of thelateTeresa M. Malizia and Joseph, Paul, John and Mary Gatta. He isalsosurvived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial Mass will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, attheChurch of Our Lady of the Assumption, Princetown Road and FordAvenue,Rotterdam. Family and friends are invited to attend.
