Barbara Blocker Brooks, 52, of Havelock, N.C., died Sunday, Jan.18,2004, at Kitty Atkins Hospice Center.
Barbara was a devoted teacher at Annunciation Catholic School whereshewas also an active church member.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, atAnnunciationCatholic Church at 10 a.m. in Havelock with Padre Robertoofficiating.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Brooks; mother andstepfather,Martha and Wayne Joyce; one son, Jason Brooks of Durham;one daughter,Jamie Brooks of Mount Olive; and four brothers, DavidBlocker and DennisBlocker of Blanchester, Ohio and Todd Joyce and JayJoyce of Lebanon,Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AnnunciationCatholicSchool, 246 E. Main St., Havelock, NC 28532.
