For a few years , we have thought that James Warren of Lincoln Co., KY was a brother to Captain William Warren of Lincoln Co., KY. DNA testing has proven this to be false.
DNA testing has proven that the descendant of Dr. James D. Warren and Margaret Dunbar they are not related to Captain William Warren.
If we assume that James Warren that married Catherine Feland was first married to Mary Unknown, then he is likely the son of Samuel Warren of Spotslyvania Co., VA.
On Sept 6, 1786, James and Mary Warren sell land to Thomas Towels. In the deed it states this land was devised to James Warren by his father Samuel Warren deceased.
Is there any proof that Samuel Warren was married to Elizabeth Mason was the father of James Warren of Lincoln Co., KY or is this a totally different Samuel Warren?
