  Listed on Suffolk County records as the daughter of Matthew and MaryCary. LDS microfiche 6013406. This film also gives Anne's birthdate. Henry and Anne [Cary] Pitts are listed in the New England Historical & Genealogical Society Volume 125, Number 1, January 1971 issue, as the parents of Anne Pitts, who married James Briggs in Dighton,BristolCounty, Massachusetts on 26 November 1746.  Anne [also listed as Anna] was a widow early on, as husband James died on 31 May 1753 in Dighton.
