Wardrop a plantation or tract of land in Craven County contained one hundred acres
situate lying and being on the South side of Enoree River bounded Northwardly by
the said River and Westerly by Rolly Bowen land and on all others sides by vacant
land and hath such shape form & marks as the above platt represents certified under

River by virtue of a Kentucky Land Office Warrant (#100) Beginning at a

to two white oaks thence N49W 120 poles to a post Oak thence S 28

Christian County, Kentucky, Deed Book D, page 354, 16 Apr 1814, This
Indenture made this sixteenth day of April 1814 between Joseph Waldrop
and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Christian State of Kentucky.
Crawford County, Illinois, Deed Book 1, page 8, To all people to whom these
presents shall come, I, Joseph Waldrop do send Greetings, Know ye, that I the
said Joseph Waldrop of the County of Crawford Illinois Territory for and in
consideration of the love, goodwill and affection which I have and do bear
towards my loving son John Waldrop of the same County and Territory, have
given, and granted, and by these presents do freely give and grant unto the said
John Waldrop his heirs executors or administrators, a certain Brown Mare and
her yearling Colt, also the brown horse called Charly and the Waggon and gears
now being at my present dwelling house in the said County and Territory
aforesaid, of which (before the signing of these presents) I have delivered him the
said John Waldrop an Inventory signed with my hand and bearing even date to
have and to hold all the said property, at the said dwelling house to him the said
John Waldrop, his heirs executors or administrators from henceforth, as his & their
property absolutely without any manner of condition. I Witness Whereof I have
hereunto put my hand and seal this 4th day of October 1817. Joseph Waldrop
