- Begin Obit George Robert Oliver Died at his home here - George Robert Oliver, 61, of 203 fifth, a resident of Wichita Falls, 17 years, died Wednesday morning at his home. Funeral arrangements, in charge of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, are incomplete.
Survivors include his wife; a son N.H. Oliver; four daughters, Mesdames L.B. Tipfer, T.O. Wilson and B.E. Wigley, all of Wichita Falls, and Miss Ona Fay Oliver, Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters and nine grandchildren. End Obit
George Robert Oliver, after the death of his first wife, traveled on horseback to Arkansas. He and his brother John got into some kind of trouble and the sheriff told them to leave town or go to jail. He then went into the Indian territory.
