John Vance, Cooper, of Frederick Co., Virginia devises as follows: to wife Elizabeth Vance one bay mare called Bonny, her saddle and the third part of all of his estate; to his son John Vance Jr., his house with 400 acres of land, part of the tract where John Vance Sr. now lives; to his daughter Elizabeth Matthews 90 acres bonding on the meadow adjoining George William ?, land, provided land shall never be sold to anyone except John Vance Jr.; to his daughter Hannah Crafford five shillings; to his son Alexander Vance 145 acres that he now lives on; wife Elizabeth and son John to be executors.
