  William Skaggs died in Bell County, Texas. His death certificate stated his father was R. W. Skeggs and mother Elizabeth Underwood. Both parents of William A. Skaggs were listed as born in Kentucky.  The informant to the death certificate was his wife, Elizabeth. William and Elizabeth (Warren) Skaggs had no children. They lived very close to the Felix Grundy Warren branch of the family, some who had moved from Taylor County, Kentucky to Bell County, Texas between 1883-1884.
