Rosemary Warren Hoover
1917-2006
Rosemary Warren Hoover, a former Willcox, Ariz., resident, died Dec.1,2006, at her daughter's home in Tucson, at the age of 89. Mrs.Hoover wasborn Oct. 18, 1917, in Ballinger, Texas, the daughter of Tomand LeslieWarren.
She moved to Buffalo Valley with her parents in April of 1918.Sheattended school at Lake Arthur, N.M., and later moved to Artesia,N.M.She married Kermit Hoover in 1939 and was a homemaker and a cookat Bob'sHome Caf? in Willcox. Rosemary was also a devoted DallasCowboy Footballfan. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents,an infant son andthree brothers. Survivors include six children,Sharon Browning andhusband Cody, Johnny Hoover and wife, Lorrie, WayneHoover and wife,Rita, all of Arizona, and Tommy Hoover and wife Penny,Barbara Nelson andSusan Gray, all of Artesia, N.M. Sisters DorothyGleghorn and husband,Charlie, and Frances Green and husband, Elton, ofArtesia. She is alsosurvived by grandchildren, Jeanette Carlisle,Kathy Hooker, Tommy J.Hoover, Billy Hoover, Scotty Hoover, ScottSears, Gary Nelson, WadeNelson, Todd Hoover, Kim Young, Teri Beaver,Kelli Gray and Cindy Herron.Also 23 great-grandchildren and onegreat-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 8, atWestlawnChapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 9,at theWillcox Church of Christ. Gary Terbell will officiate at theservices,with burial at Sunset Cemetery in Willcox. Pallbearers willbe grandsons:Gary Nelson, Wade Nelson, Todd Hoover, Billy Hoover,Tommy J. Hoover,Scotty Hoover and Scott Sears. Contributions may bemade to the WillcoxChurch of Christ.
