  Recieved information from an extract from Warren Cantrell, JeffreyJewell, and Loran Borders. Recorded in Green Co. in 1850 Census, with realestatevalued at $480. Five children at home. In 1860, recorded in Dist #1P.O.,Allendale, Green Co, with real estate valued at $1600, and personal propertyat$600.  Seven children recorded at home. In 1870, recorded at LowerBrushCreek TWP, Green Co., wiht real estate valued at $1600, and personalpropertyat $1300.  Two more children had joined the family and 6 were recordedathome. In 1870 census, he was James Cantrell, age 50, W/M, farmer, Born inKY. In 1880 census, he is in Green Co., and only the 2 youngest were stillathome. Listed in Green County Review, Vol.15, #1 "The ELMORE Cemetary" Asa Cantrell consented for the Oct 1841 marriage of James.  Administratorof Asa's 1880 will.  In his 1894 MC, he is 73, 2nd marriage, POB was GC., married at James E. Whitlow's. p 91 15 May 1869 Deed Bk 26,p46 Elizabeth Bloyd & husband George W. Her husband J.J. Cantrell afterward married Mrs. Tildy Akridge who still survives him. The children ofJ.J.
