in both 1904 and 1925 stated parentage of both William Thomas Thompson and Nancy Joyce Warren. Clearly stated that William Thompson's father was John Thompson and mother was Elizabeth Nelson. Also specifically stated Hugh Warren and Jane Vance were the parents of Nancy Joyce Warren. Middle name of Thomas revealed in U.S. Quaker meeting record mentioned in Hazelwood Monthly meeting records. Also Joyce as the middle name of Nancy.
Taylor county birth records indicate William Thompson born on 27 March 1856; however U.S. Quaker records state 27 Mar 1855. Both listings state he was born in Taylor County, Kentucky.
