  Green County, kentucky, Deed Books, page 477:  I, Elizabeth Lemons widowof Isaac Lemons dec'd of the County of Green and State of Kentucky,theconstitate (?), and appoints Isham Ready of the county and State aforesaidmylawful attorney for and ______ my name to recieve from the paymaster ofthedistrict for the expedition to New Orleans.  My deceased husband, Isaaclemonspay, that he may be entitled to, and I do by these presents invest mysaidattorney for me, and my name with full and ample power to collect the same asImyself might do where I personally present, and his act shall be obligated onmefor the same as a witness.  My hand and seal this 7th day of May,1817Elizabeth Lemons Green County, Kentucky, Inventory and appraisement books, page 287: Inventory of the estate of Isaac Lemons, dec'd to wit.  the wages ofthesaid Isaac Lemons owe for his services on the Exposition to New Orleans inthe United States Army-----$35.00.  The above is all the estate odIsaacLemons deceased which came to my hand to be administered.  Given under myhand as administratrix with the 11th day of August 1817  Elizabeth Lemons.
