1832, William applied for a Revolutionary War Pension. He stated his age to be 87, and living in Orange County, North Carolina at the time of filing. He stated he was born in Spotsylvania County, Virginia in 1745.
His pension stated he lived: Spotsylvania County, Virginia 1745-ca 1784. Caswell County, North Carolina from ca 1784-ca 1824. Orange County, North Carolina from ca 1824 till 1832.
