Was listed as a Colonel and a Merchant in various Maryland records.
Was living in Maryland prior to 1657 as evidenced by the following:
1. Statement Humphrey Warren made 20 April 1659 that two years earlier, he had seen a "mare of Mr. Starkeys with two stone colts following her."
2. Was listed as a testator (witness) of the will of William Bromale(Brumale) of Kent County, Maryland. on 4 December 1660; (Maryland Calendar of Wills Volume 1, page 18)
Immigrated for good in 1662 with son Humphrey as noted by following Maryland land entry:
Early Families of Southern Maryland, Vol. 5, Warren, Page 113 (12Oct1662) Lay our Humphrey Warren, Merchant, 1000 acres of land, demanded for himself and his son Humphrey and Francis Jenkins and Anne Lane his servants transported in this pres(en)t year for which he demands 200 acres. (Land Office 5.235 - Charles County general assembly records)
In 1663; his son Thomas was transported frm England. (Land Office5.305 -Charles County general assembly records)
In 1664, Humphrey Warren of Wicomico river was named executor of the will of Bridget Heard of Potomac river (Maryland Calendar of Wills Volume 1, page 50)
Prior to his death; land records indicate he conveyed land called "Frailty" on the West side of Wicomico to Josias Fendall in trust for his wife Ellen (Ellinor) and his youngest son Thomas Warren.(Charles County Land Records, book H #2431)
His 3rd wife had re-married to Thomas Howell before the Estate was settled according to a statement of Humphrey Warren Junior on 19 April 1677. (Charles County general assembly records)
